Logging into app results in a "No data exists for the row/column" error


When logging into an app, a "No data exists for the row/column" error appears, as shown below.


This error can also result when logging in to the Verivo Test Page, and it can appear in the AppStudio server logs.



This error can occur if the login request does not properly provide the data that a customized authentication plug-in requires to identify users.


  • Disable Custom Authentication in AppStudio by going to Application Properties ->Security tab, and uncheck Use Custom Authentication. You should now be able to log in to the app without error.
